LARRY PEACOCK

Business Manager / Secretary Treasurer

Larry Peacock has 30 years’ experience in the coatings industry. He joined the Union in 2003 and he is a NACE Level 2 Coatings Inspector. In July 2003 Mr. Peacock started with FTI District Council 77 as a Training Coordinator and was promoted to Director of Training in January 2014 and he assisted Chuck Hill and DC77 in building the 45,000 sq’ Training Facility in Atlanta. In May of 2021 Larry moved over to the Council side of DC 77 as Director of Service and on Dec 4th, 2021 the Delegates met and voted Larry into office as the Business Manager and Secretary Treasurer of District Council 77.

JULI PRILL

Director of Servicing

Juli Prill is a second-generation painter with Local 226, having joined in 2010 as an industrial painter. She has had the privilege of serving as a job steward, where she enjoyed both painting and helping her brothers and sisters. Juli has also served as Local 226’s recording secretary and a Delegate for DC 77. She is a certified Level 2 NACE Coatings Inspector. Juli is proud to have been elected as the President of the local labor council in Chattanooga, where she volunteers in pro-union community and political events. Passionate about her union, Juli is always willing to support and give back, grateful for the opportunities and benefits it has provided for her family. In November 2020, she was appointed Business Representative for Local 226 in Chattanooga, TN, and Local 437 in Knoxville, TN. In January 2022, she was appointed as District Council 77’s Director of Servicing. In August 2022, she resigned as Business Representative when she was appointed full-time Director of Servicing. In her current role with the IUPAT, Juli feels blessed with the responsibility to elevate her trade and support and serve its members and all the locals within District Council 77.

FRANKIE JONES

Director of Training

Frankie Jones is the Director of Training for District Council 77. He is a certified Glazier with over 20 years experience. Frankie has worked all accross the country. He has attained many certifications such as AGMT-Architectural Glass and Metal Technician, FTI Associate Instructor, Scaffold Competent Person, NCCCO Rigger 1, NCCCO Signal Person, NCCCO Mobile Crane Operator, First Aid CPR Instructor, OSHA 500, JLG University, Certified Welder and Welding Instructor, ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment), Confined Space Instructor, and many more.

JOSH THOMPSON

Business Rep Locals 57 and 1293 Georgia

Josh Thompson, a skilled Industrial painter,  joined Local 1293 in 2015 and initially worked for Alabama Painting for three years. He then transitioned to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) at Browns Ferry, where he spent almost six years as the Job Steward, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to the workforce. In December 2023, Josh became the Business Representative for Local 1293 in Muscle Shoals, AL, and Local 57 in Birmingham, AL. His extensive experience and strong background in the industry have equipped him with the expertise to effectively represent and advocate for his fellow members, reflecting his unwavering dedication to improving working conditions and supporting his colleagues in the field.

JOHN FLOYD

Business Rep Locals 193 and 1169 Georgia

John Floyd’s journey began as a young teen at the Golconda, IL, Job Corps Center in 2002, where he completed the pre-apprenticeship IUPAT program. He moved to Georgia to pursue a better career and life for his family, continuing his painting career as an apprentice and joining Local 193 in 2003. Throughout his dedicated career, John has worked on industrial and commercial painting jobs across the southeast region of DC 77, advancing from journeyman to job steward, foreman, and ultimately site superintendent from 2014 to 2021. John is excited to serve his council and locals, aiming to bring better jobs, fair wages, and to fight in solidarity for the advancement of working people. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

KEN HINK

Business Rep Local 1756 South Carolina and North Carolina

Kenneth Hink joined the union in Florida in 2008 as an industrial painter and has since built a distinguished career working on numerous nuclear facilities throughout the eastern United States. In 2014, he moved to Vogtle and became a member of Local 1756. Kenneth joined the DC 77 team in 2021 and now serves as the Business Representative for South Carolina, North Carolina, and 14 counties in Georgia. His extensive experience and dedication to his trade make him an invaluable asset to the union and its members.

PETE CASCIANO

Business Rep Local 1940 Council Wide

Pete Casciano began his career as a Glazier right after leaving the Marine Corps in the early 1980s. His career has taken him to two locals in two states. Pete has served in various roles, including President, Vice President, Instructor, and his current position as Business Representative for Local 1940.

SARA RYMER

Business Rep Locals 226 and 437 East Tennessee

Sara Rymer is a second generation industrial painter. She serves as the Business Representative for the beautiful east TN, locals 226 & 437. With 13 years of experience in the painters union, Sara has held various roles including part-time instructor, foreman, and steward on different jobs. Notably, she was believed to be the second female in the US to receive CAS certification. Sara is proud to be a part of the IUPAT family and is passionate about helping individuals create better lives for themselves, which her current role enables her to do. Outside of work, Sara enjoys reading, singing karaoke, and gardening. She is also a fan of live bands and hiking outdoors.

LEIDY CAMPUSANO

Office Manager

Leidy joined District Council 77 in 2015 as the Administrative Assistant. In February 2019 she became the Office Manager. She assists our Members, Staff and Contractors. Our members are able to get answers to questions and explanation of benefits, as well as membership status and overall guidance. Our Contractors receive assistance in submitting our members benefits and knowing how the administrative part of reporting and submitting all of these forms correctly. She also assists our Office Staff and BM/ST Larry Peacock in daily requests for paperwork or documents needed to send our members to work and preparing for meetings. Before her tenure with the IUPAT District Council 77 she worked in an Administrative Capacity in various positions.

TIFFANY JOWERS

Senior Administrative Specialist

Since 2010, Tiffany has proudly served as the Senior Administrative Specialist within IUPAT District Council 77, honoring a familial heritage closely tied to Local 1756. Over the years, her role has evolved, underscoring her steadfast dedication to administrative excellence, and fortifying the union’s operational framework. With considerable experience, Tiffany excels in drafting agreements, memorandum of understandings, assisting with remittances, coordinating fund reciprocation, and evaluating STAR eligibility. With her wealth of expertise, she has played an integral part in streamlining administrative operations, providing crucial assistance to all Local Unions inside District Council 77, the District Council Office, and the Finishing Trades Institute.

JONATHAN HILL

FTI Coordinator

Jonathan Hill joined the union as an apprentice in 2008 and became a Part-time instructor in 2014. Mr. Hill started working for Job Corps in 2017 as an instructor over the paint program and in May of 2021, he became a training coordinator for District Council 77. He has A certification in NACE CIP Level 2, SSPC CAS Full Status Level 2, OSHA 500, Overton Rigging/signaling, Overton MEWP/Forklift, USACE Fall Protection, ICRA, and Pandemic Resiliency.

ALAN SPECK

FTI Coordinator

Alan Chase Speck, a fourth generation painter, has been active in the coating industry for over two decades. He got his start when he was 16 in the custom residential market soon after he started managing projects for the family business in the commercial market. After many years with the family business Alan decided to make his own way joining the industrial painter apprenticeship program at local union 1293. A part-time instructor position is where he got a real taste for giving back to his Union. Today he is currently a training coordinator for district council 77.

LISA BROOKS

Recruiter & Health and Safety Coordinator

Lisa is in charge of recruiting and assisting new apprentices. She’s also the Health and Safety Coordinator and the DC 77’s Helping Hands Champion for Mental Health and Suicide Prevension. Lisa joined Local 193 as an apprentice in 2014 and topped out as an Industrial Painter by trade. She has been very active throughout her carreer starting with being elected Warden of her local, volunteering on behalf of the union in many political and pro-union activities such as DC 77’s Womens CORE Committee Representative for the IUPAT, as well as DC 77 FTI Instructor.

VERONICA GUERRA

Administrative Assistant

Veronica Guerra joined District Council 77 in March, 2020 as an Administrator Assistant. She has been in the Customer Service and Administration for 30 years, hiring, training, and managing administratives duties for various companies with a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. She’s very grateful to IUPAT DC 77 for the opportunity and been part of a great team; her experience working here has been a blessing to her and hopes to return those blessings through her work and those who need it.

ALFA BANTYA

FTI Administrative Assistant

Alfa Bantya has over two decades of experience in the customer service sector and has been a dedicated non-profit professional for more than 10 years. She joined the DC 77 team in 2023, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Leveraging her extensive background in customer service and non-profit work, Alfa effectively supports and advocates for members. Her commitment to excellence and passion for service make her a valuable asset to DC 77.

OFELIA ARDILA

Administrative Assistant

Ofelia Ardila joined the IUPAT family in August 2022 as an Administrative Assistant. With several years of experience in administration, customer service, and HR, Ofelia brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She previously worked at a call center for Cigna Insurance and ran a tax and consulting business in California for 25 years. Ofelia is very happy to be part of the IUPAT family, as she was welcomed warmly and immediately felt at home. She finds it to be a great environment to work in and is proud to contribute to the team.

KATY MAULDEN

Administrative Assistant

Katy Maulden has been with District Council 77 since 2021, serving as an administrator for Locals 226 and 437, while also supporting Locals 1293, 57, and 779. In her role, Katy provides crucial administrative support to members, handles graphic design projects, and creates the union’s newsletter. With a strong background in recruiting and marketing, she brings a diverse skill set to her position. Being part of DC 77 has shown Katy that the union is more than just a workplace; it’s a community and a larger movement she is proud to support.

JIM MCALISTER

Business Rep Local 49 and 424 Memphis and Arkansas

James “Jim” McAlister joined the IUPAT in 1990 as a journeyman painter. He has extensive experience in the trade and served as a full-time instructor for the Finishing Trades Institute (FTI), where he developed a passion for training members. Jim holds many certifications in his field, underscoring his commitment to professional development and excellence. In 2021, he took on the role of Business Representative for Locals 49 and 424. His long-standing dedication to the union and his wealth of knowledge make him a key figure in supporting and advancing the interests of the members he represents.

MACK DAILY

Field Rep 1225 Mississippi

Mack Dailey is a seasoned painter who has been a union member since 1988. He has been a dedicated member of Local 1225 since 2010, during which he served as the chief steward of the shipyard for 12 years. In 2021, Mack joined District Council 77 and currently serves as the Representative of Local 1225. His extensive experience and long-term commitment to the union have made him an invaluable advocate for his fellow members.

EASTON LAMBERT

Business Rep 779 and 1967 Mobile and Granada

Easton Lambert began his career as an Industrial Painter in 2017 and moved to the role of IUPAT Organizer in 2019. In 2022, Easton became a Business Representative, serving Locals 779, 1967, and 1225. As a second-generation painter, he brings a deep understanding of the trade and a commitment to his work. Easton is the President of the Southwest Alabama Labor Council and serves as Vice President of the Mobile/Pensacola Building Trades, Alabama State Building Trades, and Mississippi State Building Trades. He is also on the executive board of the United Way of Southwest Alabama, showcasing his dedication to both his trade and his community.

CHRIS MAHONE

Field Rep 1961 Paint Makers

Christopher Mahone is a seasoned paint maker and maintenance technician with over two decades of experience, tracing his roots back to the heart of Local 1961 where he was raised under the guiding influence of his father, Christopher Mahone Sr., former Chief Steward at PPG Distribution Center. Beginning his journey in 2001 through PPG’s college summer program, Christopher’s commitment to his craft remained steadfast even as he answered the call to serve in the Army in 2011, only to return in 2021 to continue his work. Currently serving as a field representative and Member Retention Representative, Christopher’s passion for advocacy and community service shines through in his dedication to helping his fellow union members. Beyond the workplace, he finds joy in hunting, attending church, and cherishing moments with his beloved wife and family, embodying the spirit of Local 1961 both professionally and personally.
